Who We Are

Charlie Dragon moved to Nantucket in 1982 with a degree in floriculture from Stockbridge School of Agriculture. After working in various gardening positions he founded C.A. Dragon Landscape in 1985.

While landscaping is Charlie's main work, he realized the possibilities for bringing the beauty of temporary gardens to hosted events. Charlie has designed portable gardens for many charitable events on Nantucket as well as weddings, wedding receptions and special events.

Portable Party Gardens can work in conjunction with your florist and/or caterer to design a beautiful Nantucket garden experience for you and your guests.
